St. Patty's Day 2012!
It is tradition for MnV to get a green beer from a local libation establishment called The Alamo. This is the place where it all started for this duo back in 2008. So...with the help of GP & Nana...we were able to continue this tradition. They graciously offered to watch Blake for the evening while we had a night out (twist their arm, right?!!!). Anyways, here are some pics from the fun evening for us (actually it looks more fun for GP & Nana!).

Baby Bullet Fun!
Thank you to Aun"T" & Uncle J for getting us the Baby Bullet for Christmas. We decided to give it a try and have been hooked ever since. Here we are making our first batch back in February & feeding Blake homemade sweet potatoes for the first time.

Colorado in February
We left LAX at 6:30am so basically Blake slept the whole drive to the airport and then after going thru security...he caught a few zzz's. What a good boy.
All aboard!
Waiting for take-off...first time parents dealing with diaper changing & plane ride!
Blake doesn't seem to mind.
Blake doesn't seem to mind.
This is a family affair...wake up Blake! Ok, never mind, please keep sleeping...phew!!!
Look who woke up happy.
Thank you Lyndi for suggesting that we get a picture with the Captain. We didn't get a pic with him, but we got something pretty cool..a picture of us flying the plane! Where are we going Blake?
Check out these cuties in Colorado waiting for the rental car.
We made it to Robert & Kelly's house in Morrison that first night. They were such gracious hosts. We had AMAZING elk shiscabobs (caught by Robert & his brother Ken & hauled off the mountain by them & Kelly!).
Then the next morning they made us all biscuits and gravy...SO GOOD! We played a little and then they packed up for Twin Lakes. We packed up for Castle Rock to visit Lyndi & family.
You can see Red Rocks from Robert & Kelly's place (AWESOME!) so we decided to drive up and see it before we headed south to Castle Rock.
Then we made it to Lyndi & Adam's house for an overnight visit. We had dinner at a yummy mexican restaurant and then hung out with them at their house. We had SO much fun catching up & laughing! Here's to good times & good friends!
Miss Presleigh!
Mr. P (AKA Angry Bird Man)
The whole gang!
Blake was tired out! zzzz......
We loved seeing the Jensens'...thank you so much for letting us stay in your home. We had such a great time getting to know your little ones...Blake can't wait to go back to play with them soon!
Then it was off to exploring. We headed North to Boulder.
We got a room at the Boulderado in downtown. What an amazing place with so much history.
This is us enjoying Blake a little in the room before we headed out to explore.
We explored the city where Matt actually lived for a few months back in 2006 while on assignment for Amgen. He showed Blake & me around and then brought us to a local favorite brewery that he used to enjoy often. Walnut Brewery off the main strip in downtown Boulder.
The next day we headed to Denver to meet Robert & Kelly for dinner at Fogo de Chao, a brazilian meat house. It was the start of restaurant week in Denver and they had made reservations already. Then they invited us. What a fun experience. Here we are enjoying the Denver skyline from the top floor of the Hyatt Downtown before meeting Robert & Kelly for dinner.
Dinner was a BLAST!!!
Then it was time to go home the next morning. Here is Blake on the way home from LAX.
We just want to thank Robert & Kelly & The Jensen Family for opening their homes to us. We cannot express our appreciation for your hospitality. Of course, our home is your home...always.
Love you all.
